After a long, uphill battle, it looks like Antioch College is knocking on freedom's door. This Friday, the long-anticipated transition of power will finally occur. The enormous breach of trust and waste of resources committed by the University is in the past, and the independent College can flourish again!
Classes are scheduled to resume in fall of 2011.

I applaud the effort, but my friend who attended until it was shut down expressed concern that reattaining accreditation might take some time.
Shouldn't be any different than the process of any school seeking accreditation. Since they've kept students on with "Nonstop" they should be able to slide back into routine whether or not they can get accredited right away. It can work retroactively...i.e., students can take classes that will count later, when the school can provide recognized degrees.
